Coin laundry on the island?

We are planning on our first trip to the island in June. We are Day hikers and will be staying at the lodge. I read one post that indicated there’s a laundry on the island, could someone please confirm? Thanks much.

Anytime in June will be OK for doing laundry in either Windigo or Rock Harbor as they are open roughly from Memorial Day (maybe a day or two earlier) to shortly after Labor Day (typically a week after). The machines are operated by tokens that can be purchased at the stores located in the same locations.

If you are day hiking and staying at the lodge, weight is not much of a concern. I would suggest bringing extra clothes and not washing. The washer dryers are far from cheap. I don't remember exactly, but I think $6-8 for a wash and more to dry.
