Isn't this the disease that threatened Isle Royale's wolf population, I think in the 1980's? The way I remember reading it, it was spread by someone who had brought their pet dog to the island.

Minnesota will be the new Missouri, but for today we have a fresh pile of snow so the dog and I are going to spend the rest of the day skiing.

Good to know there are so many "experts" who know more than Rolf about the decline in moose numbers, re: comments!!
