I've made a couple of day trips so far this year, and have a 5-night trip planned for August 9-14. Yesterday I got a call from a traveling partner who said that the park was going to close down again on August 11. I can't find any verification of this.
Anyone know anything about this? I hope it's just an unfounded rumor (fake news, don't ya know?)

I have not heard of anything, but it does appear there is a change on August 11th of some sort. On both the fuel page (https://www.nps.gov/isro/planyourvisit/boat-fuel.htm) and resort section of the general FAQ (https://www.nps.gov/isro/planyourvisit/ ... rk-faq.htm) they mention changes on that date. Specifically, the RH Store appears to be closing, perhaps for the season.

My buddy called the Houghton office and was informed that they are not closing the park. So, our trip is still on.
