Mailing items to Windigo

Post by MarjiGesick »

We start a 9 day hike in RH, but on day 3-4 we are in Windigo. I'd love to send a care package there to have it waiting for us if this is even possible. Tips? How long will they hold it? How early before the trip should I send it? Anything is helpful. Thanks again.

The Voyaguer II delivers USPS packages, see here: https://www.isleroyaleboats.com/faq.html
How long before? Hard to say given the current state of the USPS...
It wouldn't hurt to touch base with the boat folks to let them know something's coming--and they may be able to give an idea as the "how long before".

I've never looked into it, but I wonder if you could leave the package at RH to be picked up and delivered to Windigo? Intra-island delivery?
