fire on east end

just back from the island on 8/24. The fire on the east end was growing and NPS is now actively fighting it. Sea plains were dropping water on it and i met forest firefighters in Windigo gearing up up to go to rock harbor. They said everything from 3 mile east was at risk, although the fire had not jumped Tobin Harbor. Lane Cove was closed and so was the Stoll Trail. Pretty much all the info i have.
