We just had a last minute bail out on a 2wk trip. Free ferry ticket, free park entry, we have a packraft/paddle & maybe a PFD to fit.
Solid itinerary with more paddling than packing or portaging!
Need to be in Copper Harbor on Friday evening, back to land on the 22nd.
Drop me a DM... we have 3 of 4 rafts full right now
Anyone got the time for a 2wk packraft trip?

Re: Anyone got the time for a 2wk packraft trip?
We didn't manage to fill the extra ticket after all. I did however finish completing all of the islands canoe & Indian portages. I got the western loop through the interior lakes back to Chippewa Harbor on the first paddle trip & the North loop out of Rock Harbor through Duncan Bay back South through the interior to Chippewa on this trip.
Someone left an Amazon type emergency kit / carry bag with a flare gun ( WTF?!? ) + PFD vest & nice pair of 10.5 boots on the LeSage / Livermore canoe portage.

Re: Anyone got the time for a 2wk packraft trip?
Looking forward to the trip report!
Curious where the Richie/Chippewa portage starts/ends on the CH end? It's only one I've never done, and know that many years ago it was up the creek, but somewhere in my head remember someone saying it was all the way to the campground--that would make for a really long portage.
