HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Park Service announced today that Isle Royale National Park will not open for the 2025 season due to significant staff cuts. Rangers will be redistributed to other, more-visited locations and normal service is expected to resume during the 2026 season.

As an old man, as the other Jerry can verify, I had hoped I could make one more trip to this nice place (ISRO NP). I'm not a happy camper. I now hope they don't close down our National Forest and or Corp. of Engineer campgrounds. That would really p... me off!
