Canoe loading on the Queen IV and water taxi
Can someone tell me how they load canoes on the Queen IV and on the water taxis? Do they load them upside down or right side up? Do you just use bungee cords or velco and strap your paddles and fishing poles inside the canoe, or do something different?

Generally, canoes are loaded right side up on the the Queen. On the Water Taxi, they turn the canoes upside down.
There is a bar on the transom and on top of the cabin roof that hold the boats to which they are secured.

Your canoe should be empty. The Queen and Ranger have barrels for transporting long items like fishing poles.

last year our canoes were loaded right side up. We had bungeed in our life jackets and fishing poles and the guys were ok with that, there were about 6 canoes and a few kayaks on that trip and there was still plenty of room and no need to stack.
