Kayak Registration

We are preparing for a trip on June 20. The mode of travel once on the Island is Kayak. We are from a state that does not require a registration/permit/sticker for Kayaks. What will be required on the Island and how about on the big water?

Michigan and ISRO do not require kayaks to be registered.
