Off topic: UP watertrail suggestions?

Looking for suggestions...I'm looking for a 1-3 day kayak trip in the central/eastern UP. I have a basecamp in Hessel and would like to venture out for a few days. I have two cars so shuttling won't be a problem. Thanks in adavance for the help! Lisa

Go over to Jessie Hadley's Wind and Waters EcoTours in Hessel. Pick up a copy of the Drummond Island Chamber of Commerce Magazine. It talks about the Drummond Island Water Trail. Also, Drummand Island Tourism Association puts out a new map of the island detailing the water trail and camp sites. I just got back from the Island and checked out some of the spots. Very nice. I'm planning on heading out there to paddle soon since I'm in DeTour Village.
