I just started reading this book, seems really good. Have any of you read it?

I will update as I progress.

Have you finished the book yet? My son and I watch Survivorman and Man vs. Wild and like both of them. What is Les' book about? Survival skills or his personal story? My son might enjoy reading the book.

It is a great book, funny thing is I thought I did post an update when I was about half-way thru, must have been a dream  I am almost done with the book now.

The book is about survival skills. He covers many topics such as building a survival kit, how to find/build shelter, food, weather, etc... Group vs. Solo survival is touched on a few times, as well as the psychological aspects. He does a good job of providing tips based on different climate regions as well. He has many stories of his own, along with stories others have shared with him. It is nice to know that some people have actually saved their lives using skills they learned from him and that they come back to thank him!

Highly recommended, Les is the man :!:
