Desor to Desor?

Post by Schillace »

Trying to plan a last minute trip (August 31-September 4) Excited but not sure what to do this time. Stayed at Rock Harbor end first time, Minong 2nd time...what to do for the 3rd trip.

I was thinking of exploring the Windigo end but I would want to cut across at Desor. Are there trails around Lake Desor?

Any other 5 day ideas welcome!

No trails around Desor. Hatchet is the only Greenstone-Minong cutover, per se.

I've heard of some that have bushwacked it, but it's rough and thick...

I've heard there is an abandoned rangers cabin someplace on the north west side of Desor.

My buddy and I have discussed trying to find it and I've scoured GoogleEarth a few times looking for signs of it to no avail.

Anybody have any intel?
