Private Sea Planes Allowed In Isle Royale NP
I was curious if anyone out there knows the park rules regarding someone flying there own or a rental sea plane into IRNP. Are there places to dock or moor available to leave the plane for a few days while going hiking?

Best thing to do is to contact the Park HQ in Houghton - (906) 482-0984. I think it's safe to say you'd have to talk to them anyways (IF it's allowed at all).

Be aware that the CFR permits landing a float-plane only at three locations: Windigo, Mott Island and behind Rock Harbor on Tobin Harbor.
