I would still like to see the locks closed. Once they get in the lake there is no turning back.

John, I agree with you 100%. They need to keep them out of the Great Lakes, period. Once they're here it may be too late to "turn the tide".

Chicago needs to own up the fact that closing the locks really will not hurt them that bad. It will be a big inconvenience, I'm sure, but it will not hurt them as much as it would hurt the Great Lakes.
