I'm probably the only boater here, so this might not matter to many, but the Moskey Basin dock was damaged during the winter and the Park Service recommends against its use until it is repaired.
The dock at Three Mile campground is also closed. The reason is unknown.

Re: Moskey Basin and Three Mile
When I was in Three Mile campground about 10 days ago, the outer leg of the L dock had started to collapse and was cordoned off. The main portion, straight out from land was available. I was hiking, so wasn't paying a lot of attention.
Though I stayed at Moskey Basin, I never went near the dock.

Re: Moskey Basin and Three Mile
I recently spent a week hiking on the island and the dock at both Moskey and and one of the ones at Three Mile were partially closed. At Moskey there was significant damage to the concrete at the far end of the dock. At Three Mile it appeared that the dock was unstable and had partially broken. No one seemed quite sure what had caused the damage. Greg R.

I was on the Island a few weeks ago and spoke to a ranger making his rounds at Three Mile. He said that it was mainly ice damage and that they hoped to have Three Mile and Moskey repaired this season.
