Minong III

I've went through many of the previous posts in regards to the Minong trail. I've been reading and thinking about it for two years and I have some extra time this year:) I hike several times a week here in AZ and this will be my 5th trip to IR. I know about the tricky trails and the lack of water. Has anyone hiked from Rock Harbor to Windigo using the Minong and then hiked back to RH? After the first week, I'll have the fishing out of my system...I'm thinking seriously about using the other two weeks to check out the Minong or should I fish a new area. Thoughts?

I've done the RH to Widigo via the Minong twice. Never did it the other way, primarily because of a truly miserable climb up to the ridge shortly after you leave Windigo. Kind of the same reason I won't do the Feldtman Loop trail counter-clockwise again.
