We'll be staying on a Sunday evening, too old for the "Under 50" promo, wondering what other may have done in similar situation. Sleep 3 in a room with roll-away? Split 3 guys between 2 rooms, enjoy faster morning shower rotation? Any other promos we don't see on line?
Also, we're first timers to the routine, but a 6 am breakfast at Rydens, 6:45 ready-to-load at the Voyageur II seems like a tight schedule. Is it easily do-able?
Best $ for 3 guys at Grand Portage Casino?

We've gotten a double room and then just had somebody crash on the floor with a sleeping pad, since we have all that gear with us...
If you're at Ryden's at 6, you should be good. It seems at times their hours float around a bit, too. Often someone is there earlier to get the griddles going.. I doubt you'll hit traffic or rush hour driving from Rydens to the dock.

I usually stay at The Outpost in Grand Marias. Then, I have a light breakfast (fruit, yogurt) in case the ride over is rough. Also, dinner at the Angry Trout the night before has become a tradition. Also, there is an outfitter there for those last minute purchases.
Outpost is clean, knotty pined rooms, and the price is reasonable. There is a double room and the rest are singles with a double bed.
