One of the kayaks swamped and sunk in 4' waves. It would be interesting to know if the kayaks had watertight bow and stern compartments.

First thoughts are if the kayak filled with water they obviously were not wearing a spray skirt and it does not mention if they were wearing a wet or dry suit. Thankfully it turned out ok.
