50 Lakes One Island

Post by johnhens »

I went to George Desort's presentation at Canoecopia last night. I was amazed at his videography and photography of this project. The last video sequence he shared-I am still amazed by it. He shoots a scene with a couple of foxes and a moose carcass in winter that is going to be featured in a New National Geographic show similar to Planet Earth. I am looking forward to the release of 50 Lakes One Island, it is going to be awesome!!

"This has been johnhens reporting live from Canoecopia in Madison, Wisconsin."

Seriously though, thanks for the update John! I as well am looking forward to the film...I've always loved the chase and wire-cam work from ski movies that George is using in this film, and in HD, I'm sure it's going to be amazing. Keep us posted!

For those of you who don't know, the film John is referring to is this here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/isl ... one-island
