The Lady Boot area of Lac La Croix hosts impressive stands of unharvested areas of Red Pine.
In a two week trip circumventing Lac La Croix early this 2014 spring I spent three nights at this
campsite. It was majestic.

The size of the trees that fell on the tents and surrounding site would
have needed extreme winds to topple. The site C0155 is on the eastern shore and would have
had winds rushing across the water and then directly slamming the shoreline.

Attached are two photos I took at campsite this spring. The other is aftermath from July 22 Blowdown
