Confrimed this info this AM with IRNP. 3/16/18 A news release will be issued at 9:00 AM.

Apparently there's a 30 day waiting period before it's a final, final, (final, final) decision...

I still say they let things take their natural course. So it’s been a while since I’ve been on the forms or since I’ve had the opportunity to look what’s going on in the island. Are the wolves completely extinct on the island as of right now?

Never mind. I see the wolf moose study states that there is still two wolves on the island.

Two that cannot mate. They are related and had offspring that died due to inbreeding.
