Unusual Miky Way 2019

Here is shot of Milky Way with either some bolides or Elon Musk Starlink network. Besides the two bright streaks which look like they are coming from Saturn left and Jupiter right they are a number of other streaks just not as bright. This was taken by Daisy Farm.

How long was this exposure? The stars don't look like they moved, so it can't have been that long -- those other items must have been trucking it!

Crikey! I'm rooting for bolides, which I didn't know existed until about 40 seconds ago.

This was taken with an Canon 80d with a 14mm Rokinon prime lens. 25 second exposure at f/2.8 3200 iso. I think they are bolides but an astronomer with NPS is leaning toward the Starlink Network but is researching so hopefully he can figure out exactly what I captured.

Wait! What? The NPS employs an astronomer?

Well not exactly...... He is a Ranger first, who spent his younger years on Isle Royale were his father was a Ranger. But I digress. He leads Star Party's at the park where he works and on the side has his own Astronomy business. I first met him when I did a 5 day Canyonlands National Park raft trip down the Colorado geared to astronomy. He brought a couple of his telescopes and I was schooled by him with his vast knowledge of the cosmos. I have a small 6 inch Celestron 6SE GoTo scope, which was one of scopes he brought along and I learned more in the 5 days than I did on my own for the 5+ years I have self taught myself. So I guess yes and no the NPS employs an astronomer.
