Hidden Lake > Daisy Farm mileage question
What is the trail mileage from Hidden Lake to Daisy Farm via the west turnoff to Daisy?
I just loaned my map to someone today and can't answer that question for myself.
Thanks!

Re: Hidden Lake > Daisy Farm mileage question
I get 10.2 miles via Mt Ojibway.

Re: Hidden Lake > Daisy Farm mileage question
If you are considering this to do the entire length of the Greenstone Ridge Trail, know that the lodge runs a hiker drop-off run of the MV Sandy two days a week in the morning. I am going from memory here but I think it was the day after the Ranger ferry arrival. And, you can take the regular excursion to Hidden Lake on the MV Sandy, just be sure to tell the captain that you’re not taking the return trip. Both options are considerably cheaper than a private water taxi if your schedule fits.

And if it's 10.2 via the Mt Ojibway trail, it's 11.9 via the (westerner) Daisy Farm trail. (The map I can see right now is truncated, so I'm piggybacking off Ingo's calculation.)

@Bobcat1: It's like you can read my mind. Yes, hiking the entire length of the Greenstone is one of the options this summer. If we do select that option, I'll keep that in mind. The other option we're looking at is the Minong, since my older self will be glad to have done that when I was younger.
Does the cheaper price hold true if there are four of us?
@Ingo + @torpified: Thanks! That's good enough.

Re: Hidden Lake > Daisy Farm mileage question
On the MV Sandy, the cost is per person, and the water taxi is per trip with a max of 4 persons/trip, I think. I've never actually used the water taxi. With 4 of you, the water taxi may be an affordable option, and you can set your own schedule. The one time I started the Greenstone from Hidden Lake, it was just a dayhike and we rented a canoe, piled all 4 of us in it and then two of us hiked back.

Re: Hidden Lake > Daisy Farm mileage question
For 4 people to Hidden Lake:
Water Taxi: $66, reservations required, your designated date/time
MV Sandy ("Water Bus"): $64, no reservations, Tues or Thurs 9:00am (Sightseeing Schedule)
See rockharborlodge.com
No sure if those are 2020 or 2019, but it won't change much, if at all.
Looks like the water taxi is the best option for 4.
