Looking for your 2 cents for my up coming trip to IR. I have been using the Miniworks ex fliter. Now as a gift I have received a Steripen adventurer. Do you think its a waster of time, a good idea, cant hurt, don't bother, to use the steripen after filtering with the Miniworks.

If you do go to Highland rec. make sure you go up Haven Hill. You can alos go up the back side of the hill, its realy step there

Heading off to IR in about a week. 2nd trip there, first time I will be using water filter. I am going to use Miniworks EX and to be a little safer will also treat with Katadyn water purifier tablets. So has anyone heard of any problems with filtering water from lake Ritchie, Chickenbone ...

Didnt see and bugs anywhere

Just got back from first trip over. Went over last Friday (3rd) from Copper Hatbor. What a ride big waves, lots of hurling. Glad the Captaion knew what he was doing. First nigth super windy anbd rain, but got better after that. Saw a moose at Moskey. Cant wait to go back.
